The Activated Carbon refill set includes 2 bags with ca 120 grams Activated Carbon 2mm pellets each.
Activated Carbon is the filter medium used in the Minigrow filters. Replacing the filter medium is recommended after every 2 grows.
Refilling your cartridge is not a complex job, but requires some time and workspace. The easy way is to open the tape from the cartridge, empty existing carbon, refill with new carbon, put it back on its place.
Alternatively, if you don’t like to do the refill job yourself, buy complete filled cartridge.
